GTO flop strategy

Here's a simplified GTO flop strategy that you can use to make quick and effective decisions without running a solver every time. It covers different board textures, betting sizes, and position considerations.

If you’re in position: Out of Position Strategy

Bet small (33%) with overpairs, top pairs, and backdoor draws.

When betting, go small (33%) with overpairs and fold equity hands.
Check high card hands that missed. Check more often (65%).

Bet small (33%) with top pairs and draws. If betting, use a bigger size (66%) with sets, strong top pairs, and nut draws.
Avoid betting too much with weak made hands (like second pair). Check a large portion of your range.

Bet small (33%) with nut flushes, strong top pairs, and some bluffs. If betting, use a larger sizing (66%) with strong flushes and nut blockers.
Check hands that lack strong blockers. Check more frequently (60%+) to control pot size.
